Competition and party June 26th 2010 |
Saturday June 26 from 4pm till 7 pm the Belgian Championship ITF TUL was held in the Dosan School of Tervuren. The +-50 competitors had to perform their tuls. In the white belt category Robin won GOLD, Tim won SILVER and Marcus Bronze. The new yellow belts did also a good job. In that category Thomas K won GOLD, Jonathan has SILVER and Patrick Bronze. In higher yellow belts William won GOLD, Caelan SILVER and Lewis Bronze. In the green belt category Luis wins GOLD, Saskia SILVER and Rachel Bronze. Jorn won GOLD in the blue belts, Sara SILVER and Martin Bronze. The red belt category saw Benedict win the GOLD, Nayan won SILVER and Anh Phi Bronze. The same day in the evening, we had our SUPER BBQ and party "Nettenberg "hall and it was a big succes with +- 90 participants and really good weather. Everybody had a great time sitting outside with the friends and enjoyed a good meal and a (few) drinks. |

A lot of new tags were added on the belts of a lot of students. David B, Diogo, David D, Kaone, Patrick F, Richard F, Raphael, Nyle, Eli, Thomas A, Samuel, Max A, Toby, Charles and Julia have a yellow belt now. Emma and Alice have obtained their blue belt. Navid and Mai Thao became 2de cup or red belt. |

Results British Open UK in Margate May 1st 2010 |
Our team comes back with 16 medals from the Open British ! Jorn and Marc won GOLD in Sparring. Saskia, Benedict, Kenny, Moddibo, Elsa and Martin have Silver in Sparring. Keaton, Wouter and Niels came back with a Bronze medal in Sparring. In TUL Elsa, Killian, Wouter, Martin and Luis win the BRonze medals. A SUPER result ! 2 GOLD, 6 SILVER and 8 BRONZE ! |
Results Open Spain in Zaragoza March 20th 2010 |
Our team comes back with 10 medals from the Open Zaragoza ! Elsa, Luis, Niels and Moddibo win GOLD in Sparring. Wouter and Jorn get the SILVER medal in Sparring. In TUL Wouter and Luis win Silver.Jorn and Marc win the Bronze medals. A SUPER result ! 4 GOLD, 4 SILVER and 2 BRONZE ! |

Sabum in The Bulletin February 2010 |
Our sabum had another article in a newspaper ! After "Het Nieuwsblad" it was "The Bulletin" who interviewed her regarding her 5th degree grading. |

Championsparty January 30th 2010 |
We celebrated our champions of the year 2009 on Saturday January 30th in the Nettenberg hall. It was a really good evening with 110 participants. The dinner was great and everybody had a good time and talk. |
Grading of DECEMBER 16 & 17 2009 |
Lewis, Rob, Ahidjo,Alexander and Ryan have a yellow belt now. William and Max wear Green. Karel, Jean-Louis, Senne and Ivan have a blue belt. Inge got the red belt after a good grading. |
November 15th 2009 Sabum Barbara is now 5th degree black belt ! |
Sabum Barbara did her grading to 5th degree in Cork. In front of Master Dalton, Master McCarthy and Mr Healey she performed 9 tuls. She did the breaking tests with succes and the examinors admired her skills. ITF Belgium is proud to have the first 5th degree in our country. |

Our team wins 4 medals ! Sabum Barbara won Bronze in tul, Elsa wins Bronze in tul and in Sparring and Alice comes back with a Bronze medal in tul.Martin did a very good job but did not win this time. |

Sabum Barbara and Boo-Sabum Jean Paul met him in his hotel and had a nice dinner and chat. Master Nicholls, Sabum van der putten and Sabum Skyrme were also present at this meeting.

Seminar In Stevenage England |
On September 6th 2009 Sabum Barbara, Elsa , Martin and Jean Paul went to a seminar with Grand Master Choi In Stevenage. It was great to work with the Master again. |
LIONEL 7/10/1983 – 25/08/2009 |
Our student and friend Lionel De Maeseneire had an accident with his moterbike and died on the spot . He was 25 years old . In June 2009 he became a black belt and was a great champion with a lot of medals . We are really sad. Barbara and Jean paul. 25/08/2009
